I found this book intriguing, lots and lots of information, some useful, some interesting and some not so much; yet it is a book that I had to keep flicking and reading and return to more and more. The book has one photo, the rest is all line drawing and it really adds to the appeal. At a glance you get what the information is all about - I really enjoy the part of the different table setting, some of the history that came with the fridge took me back to the era of the iceman when I was a child. I really recommend this book - I think it is a wonderful book to pick up and put down and I bet that at the end of each sitting, something of interest is learnt
I love everything that I have read from this author. We started with the farm book and we're so impressed we came back for both the food and nature books. Incredibly interesting, informative and entertaining.

The best book ever (with nature anatomy!!). My daughter's favorite book is nature anatomy so we had to get the other ones in the series. My daughter is more a food expert than I am now!! I can't wait for another one to come out.
This book and Julia Rothman's other's in the "Anatomy" series are just breathtaking works of art. A steal at $12. I purchased for my children but honestly I love all of the books as much, if not more, than they do. Beautiful illustration with insightful & informative tid-bits on a vast array of subjects. Not to be missed!
These books are all beautiful and informative. I wouldn't hesitate to buy them for myself but they are the perfect addition to my homeschool library!
I love the illustrations in this book. Just a note: my students have a hard time reading this book because it's written in cursive. They learn cursive too, but it's not the easiest to read. Personally, I think the cursive adds to the charm.
Great book. The illustrations are quite good.
These books are beautiful and so interesting. My daughter has two and loves them. The illustrations alone are reason enough to purchase the book.
