I am going to deviate from the glowing reviews that I have read about this set of books. Honestly, I was a bit disappointed--the stories were nice and "lost mail" was an interesting concept. I have read books from each of these authors before and really like all of them. However, these books just didn't do it for me. The first one was sweet and I enjoyed it until the abrupt ending--it left me holding the iPad in my hand, not believing it was over. I did really enjoy the second book and it was well written. The third book, "Chasing Pearl" was my biggest disappointment. I have read many books by Hallee Bridgeman and can't believe I read one that I really did not like. I am a Texas girl through and through but I have to tell you that no one I know speaks in continued metaphors as was done in this book. That must drive some readers crazy--I couldn't always figure out what they were trying to say and if you are from another part of the country, beware! The number of metaphors was way out of proportion and made the characters sound like uneducated country hicks. I almost quit reading because I wasn't sure I could stand one more metaphor. I did finish it but it was a chore. I didn't care for the fourth book at all but that was just me. So, now to the final book. I'm not sure what I expected when it was supposed to tie all of the books together-I think I was expecting all of the characters to show up in the book and would have closure for them. That did not happen. Coupled with very poor editing, I was just glad to see the end of the book. I have never been crazy about "potato chip" books so I probably should have never read this. This will not keep me from reading all of these authors in other books but I am done with this kind of series.

I’m going to be honest and say that I’ve only read one of the books in this collection so far, but I loved it so much and I think it alone is well worth the purchase. Chasing Pearl by Hallee Bridgeman was a wonderful read. I love the connection it provides to her Jewel series family. Their grief over the loss of one of their own is palpable and so very realistic. Chase’s struggle as he seeks out what God wants for his life is real, but also encouraging. The fingerprints of God are throughout the story and I love that the characters are quick to recognize that. It’s refreshing to read about characters that are far enough along in their walk with Christ to recognize Him at work in their lives and to know what His voice sounds like when He speaks to them. I just really loved that aspect of the book. Many Christian fiction books are often about a character coming to know Christ or about a character who is a Christian, but hasn’t yet learned how to hear the voice of God in his/her life, to know what it sounds like. I love those types of books as well, but books that are more like Chasing Pearl are a nice change of pace.I will say that I experienced a little bit of tug of war in my mind about Violet. I loved her at first. Then I got a little frustrated with her. Then I realized that I was way more like her than I thought. :) And I thought about my own struggles with fear, with believing lies about myself and who I am, with reaching outside myself to people, with the weight I feel sometimes when I have to socialize, and I had a little more sympathy for her character and her struggle.Ms. Bridgeman also does an excellent job of capturing the awe-inspiring essence of literally touching the history of your family, of holding it in your hands. I love the reverence and excitement with which she approaches looking at the contents in the mail package from a generation before.I highly recommend reading Chasing Pearl! (And I’m sure the other books in the collection are good ones as well. Maybe after I’ve had a chance to read those, I will come back and add my thoughts about them.)

I loved this collection of books. It was so great to see how they all tied together at the end. My least favourite story would have been the ships one. While I loved the plot, it had a little too much kissing in it for me. I felt like the other four stories were a good blend of story and romance. While I have read all of Alana Terry’s books to date, I have not read any from the other four authors and look forward to remedying that soon.4 Stars because of the ships story but 5 for all across happiness. : )

I’ve read three books in this collection so far and really enjoyed them. Looking forward to seeing how the final book ties all these stories together. I’m also anticipating reading other works from these authors, enjoying these stories as I do.

I love how the styles of the authors are different but all the stories are interconnected. And just like the previous collection, I like how the last book ties together all the other little pieces of the other books, despite each book being set in different points of reference. Would recommend. If you have read the previous collection, definitely get it!! Can't wait for the Christmas one!

This was great! I had so much fun reading this! Each individual story was engaging and entertaining, and there were definitely moments of self examination. Which makes a perfect balance in Christian fiction. There's no preachiness, but the lead characters would do or say something and I would stop and ask myself if that was one of my shortcomings also.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading these stories of Lost mail and how much work it takes to puzzle out finding where the mail belong. The timing of God's hand on each piece. I cried and laughed at how God brought love and acceptance to those receiving this very special mail.

What a wonderful collection of delightful stories. Each author as created a tale with an intriguing plot, complex characters and story lines, and inspirational events. They have held true to the great beginning of this series in Out of the Blue Bouquets which was such a great collection. Can't give enough praise to this collection, this series. Don't miss these two exceptional collections!
